How do we describe Eli? Well....he has been a challenge. He came to rescue along with 12 other dogs living in a single home where the owners were being evicted. He had a cherry eye that was repaired. Eli needs an experienced dog owner. He should not go to a home with young children. The good thing about this boy is he absolutely adores his foster mom. He gives kisses, comes willingly and plays well with the other dogs. We feel in the right home he will be a wonderful companion. She recently attended our adoption event and was a hit. She has completed one round of antibiotics for Lyme disease and is doing great. We are having trouble uploading pictures of this beautiful strawberry blond girl. Diamond came to us when her owners realized she was in danger at their home. You see, Diamond lived with little pigs who were mean to her. They were so mean in fact, that Diamond had to have one of her eyes removed. And, that's not all. Poor little girl was shaken by a Chow that lived with them also. Diamond is a sweet and happy little girl. She is sixteen pounds, three years and has a non stop tail wag. She will get under furniture and growl but will come out willingly if you just kneel down and hold out your hand instead of reaching or her. Colby is about 3 years and weighs about 15 pounds. Colby is a bit strange, likes most people, but needs time to warm up. He did bite a young child. Colby is a dream dog with his foster mom. Colby gets upset with riding lawn mowers, motorcycles and other very loud noises. Chauncey is available for adoption. He does wonderful with small dogs, cats, and large female dogs. SOME large male dogs he dislikes. He is a large dog who still is very much puppy. He needs an active family. Chauncey loves children! He is shy of elderly men with beards (We don't know why) I suggest a home within a couple hours so we can make sure Chauncey fits within your family.
